I forgot to make mention,
That arrogance breeds shame.
Mirrors have no direction,
Reflecting the world is to blame.

No matter how image has risen to steep,
Outward beauty will still only lie skin deep.

I forgot to make mention,
To be true has no shame.
Inside there lies no tension,
When reflecting an awesome name.

So shatter the glass that holds life in its sleep,
Arise and lay hold of the new name you'll keep.

i read my friend's poem and decided to make one too. :)
the rhyme scheme is abab cc abab cc.
the meter is varied and that is 7|6|7|8 11|11 7|6|7|8 11|11.

oh man, i did this in 20 minutes, and i say, how wonderful. :)
